More about this item

These gowns are plain and primitive but have always been a favorite in my collection.

  1. The first gown  has hand embroidered circles on the yoke. The opening at the back is missing the top snap and there is a rust spot as shown. This is a thin cotten gown about 9-10" across shoulders X 24" shoulder to hem X 12" across bodice.
  2. The second gown seems to be made from an old pillowcase maybe. It is trimmed in white lace and buttons at the back. The button hole is worn and does not hold the button tightly.. There is some fraying of the fabric on the sides as shown that can be trimmed away.

Please be advised as with any vintage/used clothing, shoes or fabrics there may be small tears, spots, fading, pilling, wear or pulled threads.  Most are repairable and stains are treatable. I try to point out the flaws so read carefully and look at photos closely. Thank you for looking and message if you have questions!
